Scrapple, headcheese, I love all that stuff. This is a bargain buy. Totally serious. With one head you can make two or three loaf pans of headcheese, which is delicious, nutritious and you can totally break the boredom mold. Bagged, frozen, whole head, no tongue, weighs about 8-10#. Make sure you have a pot big enough to hold it, or do what I do: use a saw and cut it in half. Our pigs are rotated on pasture, fed certified grain and are a heritage breed.
