About Us

deSoto is a European-style confiserie specializing in artisan candied nuts. In Spain, candied nuts are a fixture of summertime fairs and festivals, and are also enjoyed during the winter holidays. Owner/chef Adrián caramelizes the nuts in small batches, using the traditional Spanish method which is naturally vegan and gluten-free.

Candied nuts can be enjoyed as a snack, or as a delicious addition to charcuterie boards, salads, oatmeal, and ice cream. They also make great stocking stuffers and host/hostess gifts.
